Unlike many article distribution sites, Article Marketer isn’t a drip based service. Most of the posts of your article will occur very quickly, as opposed to being released a few at a time. This doesn’t promote “organic” growth, but it does seem quite effective at giving an immediate boost. This isn’t necessarily a positive or negative quality – it all depends on your approach to article distribution in general.
There are a lot of really great reasons to use Article Marketer as your article distribution system.
One of the big potential advantages of Article Marketer is the option to buy a lifetime subscription. Though expensive, this can actually save a lot of money over time. Competing products can cost up to about $50 per month, so this would actually be cheaper than a year of some other services. Of course, Article Marketer also offers more traditional pricing structures at either $90 for a quarter or an annual subscription at $250. Neither is unreasonable, fitting in the middle range of article distribution pricing.
Article Marketer also has an incredibly wide network of sites it submits articles to. This is obviously helpful – in most situations, you’re trying to advertise as much as possible, and a wide distribution is the easiest way to get that.
However, perhaps the biggest draw of Article Marketer is its ease of use. Submitting an article is a lot easier through Article Marketer than through most of the competing products out there. Since there aren’t a lot of ways to mess up the process, there don’t tend to be a lot of problems, and when there are difficulties with your articles, they usually can be cleared up easily and simply.

As with any product, there are a few negative qualities worth mentioning.
First, there are some complaints about the customer service offered. Personally, we’ve never needed to consult their customer service.
There are also a few mechanical problems associated with the service. Certain symbols are displayed in transferred over incorrectly, leading apostrophes, asterisks, and a few other symbols to display as a string of characters. Though it is a bit of a pain to pick these out, it isn’t terribly difficult, just taking a few moments, and most of the characters affected are relatively rare.
There also isn’t any option to use different pen names, and replacing your old one with a new name takes some time and requires no articles currently out for distribution. This might be an issue if you have multiple people writing articles and each wants to use their own name.

All told, these are all minor issues. Article Marketer is the product we use most often in our own article distribution.
Despite the minor flaws in the system, the ease of use and cost over a long period of time. If you’re willing to bite the bullet and go with the lifetime membership, the value over time rises substantially as well.
Overall, we give Article Marketer 4 out of 5 stars.
