Google Ambush Review Part 4- Landing Page Generator
Once all the background information has been gathered, a comprehensive strategy formed, and details arranged through AdWords and Clickbank, the next step is the creation of an actual website to promote the affiliate product. The primary tool for this in the Google Ambush system is the Landing Page Generator.
At its base, the Landing Page Generator is a simple, easy web page editor, geared toward just creating a single page or a handful of pages for use in selling affiliate programs through Clickbank. Though it doesn’t have all the bells and whistles of full web page creation software or other online web design setups such as WordPress, it gets the job done for what the Google Ambush system recommends, just setting up basic single page or small sets of pages to bring the customer in and send them to the actual sales page as quickly as possible. Generally these aren’t a big loss – the casual Clickbank affiliate isn’t necessarily looking for the most elaborate software available, and the inclusion of a full html editor does allow more advanced users to specialize their sales pages as much as they want.

There are also quite a few features other less specialized design software doesn’t generally offer…
Since the average Clickbank affiliate seller is generally looking for a more specialized toolkit than the average web designer, the Landing Page Generator offers a few easy shortcuts that affiliates will find useful. First, pages can be easily cloned, which is a remarkable time saver when creating a number of similar pages for the same product or products within the same niche. Just changing around some of the sales text within the copied page allows tighter focus on individual target keywords, a highly useful method of focusing on individual keywords through Adbank.
Keyword insertion is also simple with the Landing Page Generator, essentially allowing customization by the viewer, as the phrase they searched for in Google to appear within the landing page itself. Though this won’t work all the time, clever usage by the designer can increase the impact of the sales page significantly, as users will literally see their search term as the focus of the page.

Of course it isn’t perfect, but for most users the flaws aren’t overwhelming.
As noted earlier, the Landing Page Generator is far simpler than the majority of the web design software out there. If you’re new to creating web pages, this isn’t that big a deal. However, people with more experience might find themselves missing features that they’ve become accustomed to when using more generalized tools. Also, there are relatively few themes available at the moment, though more are likely to be added as time goes by.
Likewise, the fact that the web pages created are all hosted by Google Ambush can be a flaw as well as a benefit. Essentially this locks you into using Google Ambush long-term, especially after more than a few pages have been created. Of course, these pages could be copied across to other web hosting, but once twenty or so are created this becomes less and less likely as the amount of work involved increases. Furthermore, any partially used web hosting more experienced users have might essentially go to waste, since their previous pages will still require hosting outside Google Ambush, even if most of their pages have been created through the Google Ambush system.

On the whole, the Landing Page Generator is a great tool for the specialized purposes of Clickbank affiliates.
It might not be as robust as a full web editor such as FrontPage, Dreamweaver, or other more elaborate and generalized software, but it does offer a number of nice features for the more speciliazed market it’s aimed at. The flaws here are perhaps greater than many of the other Google Ambush tools, but most of them only really apply to veteran Clickbank affiliates who have many of the features set up through software and hosting they’ve already got.
